Ice Delivery Driver

 

We deliver bagged ice to Restaurants, Bars, Night Clubs, Schools, Construction, Events, Etc.  The ice bags are packaged on pallets, the driver loads dolly with ice 400-800 lbs at a time and takes it into the customer's storage area (ice machine or walk-in freezer.)  You will be in and out of the truck throughout the day, so you must be able to work safely in the heat and in wet environments.

 

Our drivers interact with customers, potential customers, and vendors throughout the day - a cheerful attitude and outgoing personality are a must.  The weather typically dictates our sales, so as the weather heats up so does your schedule.  The position is a Full-Time driver, 40+ hours per week.  Driver must be flexible with schedule to come in earlier or stay later on occasion.

 

Here are the base requirements of the job:

1. Driving Experience is a must

2. Clean 5-year driving record

3. No DUI

4. Lift up to 50 lbs repetitively

5. Experience with 24' box truck (non-CDL)

6. Reliable transportation to and from work

7. Availability to work nights and weekends in the Summer

8. Basic math skills are a must
